モルモン教：Mormonism

先日、知人に誘われて、教会が行なっている英会学校に行ってきました。
The other day, an acquaintance invited me to an English conversation school held by a church.

モルモン教です。
Mormonism.

隣町にある教会は外国のそれとは違い、ただの四角いビルです。
The church in the next town over is different from those in foreign countries; it's just a square building.

でも白くて立派なので、その存在は以前から知っていました。
However, I have known of its existance for a long time because it's white and magnificent.

そこは無料で、勧誘はされず、信者でなくても誰でも参加できます。
It's free of charge, no one is invited, and anyone can attend even if they aren't a believer.

彼らはアメリカ人宣教師で、日本語を話すことができます。
They are American missionaries and can speak Japanese.

英語の先生は宣教師の男性2人とボランティア女性が2人でした。
The English teachers were two missionary men and two vorunteer women.

彼女たちも、もちろんモルモン教徒です。
These women are also Mormons, of course.

そして、そこは善意で満ち溢れているだろうと想像していた通り、大歓迎されました。
And as I imagined the place would be full of goodwill, I was made to feel very welcome.

すんごく気持ちいい。
It felt soooo good.
