ペンタブレット：Pen tablet

昨日、ショックなことがありました。

I had a shock, yasterday.

会社で久々にイラストを描こうと思い、ペンタブレットを探したのです。

I looked for pen tablet because I wanted to draw some illustrations at work for a long time.

しかし、机の中にあるはずのそれがなぜかありません。

But for some reason, it was not there, as it should be in my desk.

机の引き出しを全て探しましたが見つかりませんでした。

I looked in all the drawers of my desk, but couldn't find that.

本体がなく、ペンだけが残っている状態です。

THere's no main unit, only the pen is left.

最後に使ったのは昨年の12月でした。

The last time I used it was last December.

確か年賀状の蛇のイラストを描いたのです。

I have drawn an illustration of a snake for New Year's cards, I believe.

私はよく物を無くしますが、まさか会社の中で紛失するとは思いもしませんでした。

I often lose things, but I never thought I would lose that in the office.

これはペンタブレットをやめてiPadに変えなさい、という神様からの思し召しなのでしょうか。

Is this a sign from God that I should stop using a pen tablet and replace that with an iPad"

会社帰りにK'sデンキに立ち寄ってiPadを見たら、これがまた高くてショック！！！

I stopped by K's Denki on my way home from work and I looked at the iPad and was shocked to see how expensive that was!

悩んだ末「今年は無理。お金を貯めて来年買おう」となりました。

After thinking about that, I desided " I can't afford it this year. I'll save up and buy one next year".

そうゆうわけで、これから節約に励みます。

So, from now on, I'll work hard to save money.
