My company has a factory next door, but I rarely see the employees in the  printing department.

This is because their working hours are at night.

The layout of the newspaper is finished around 9:00 p.m.,  so printing is done after that.

彼らは深夜１２：３０ぐらいに全部刷り上がる予定で出勤してきます。
They come to work around 12:30 a.m. to print the entire paper.

力仕事ゆえ、印刷部には女性社員がいません。
Because of the heavy workload, there are no female employees in a prining depertment.

確かに、新聞紙はもともと巨大なロール紙で、大型トラックの荷台に２つしか積むことができないほどの大きさです。
Indeed, newsprint is originally a huge roll of paper, so large that only two of them can be loaded on the back of a large truck.

そのトラックが何台も連なって会社にやってくる光景は圧巻です。
The scene of several of these trucks coming to the company in a row is an amazing sight.
