私は漫画を全く読まないというわけではありませんが、
あまり読みません。
It’s not that  I don't read comics at all, though, I don't read much.

戦うお話も、恋するお話も、絵の圧力が高くてストレスなのです。
I am stressed by the high pressure of the pictures, both in fighting stories and  love stories.

テレビアニメになるともっと苦手です。
I am even worse at animated TV shows.

爆発音や戦う声、眩しい光線、鮮やかすぎる色彩が苦手です。
I don't like the sound of explosions, fighting voices, blinding rays of light, and overly bright colors.

漫画を好きな人も苦手です。
I don't like people who like comics either.

彼らは漫画の話となると、何人か集まって熱心に語り、挙句のはてに他者に力説するのです。
When they talk about manga, some of them get together and talk about it enthusiastically, and after all, they are forceful in explaining it  to others.

その姿はまるで昆虫のようだと思います。
I think their appearance is like that of insects.

昆虫は群れると気持ち悪いじゃないですか。
When insects swarm, it is unpleasant, isn't it?

でも映画「ファーストスラムダンク」は５回見ました。
However, I watched movie "The First Slum Dunk"  5 times.

あれは素晴らしいですね。
That one is fantastic!

色彩が淡いし、怒鳴らないし、光線も出ないですし。
The colors are pale, they don't shout, and there are no beams of light.

昨年12月から今まで、毎月映画館で見ています。
I have been watching it at the movie theater every month since  last December until now.
