こんにちは！毎日暑いですね。
Hello!  It's hot every day.

私が住んでいる地域は、夏がとても短く冷涼です。
I live in an area where summers are very short and cool.

10年前までは、気温が３０度を超える日は1年に3日しかありませんでした。
There were only 3 days a year until a decade ago when the temperature exceeded 30 degrees Celsius.

30年前までは夏でも気温が２０度までしか上がらない日も多く、8月でも暖房をつけていたものです。
THere were a lot of days in the summer until 30 years ago when the temperature only rose to 20 degrees Celsius, and even in August we used to turn on the heaters.

ですからストーブは1年中出しっぱなしでした。
Therefor, we left  the heater on the entire year.

夏休みに大学の友達が遊びに来たとき、大きなストーブがリビングにある光景を驚いていました。
When a friend from college came to visit during summer vacation, she was surprised to see a large heater in the living room. 

それが、梅雨明けから連日の３０度越え。
 It has been over 30 degrees Celsius every day since the end of the rainy season.

この土地では初めてのことです。
It is the first time in this land.

でも私はプールや海にも入れないほど寒い夏を生きてきたので、暑い夏は大歓迎です。
But I have lived through summers so cold that I couldn't even go  the pool or the beach, so I welcome hot summers. 

こんな夏を、子供時代や青春時代に経験してみたかったです。
I wish I had experienced such summers in my childhood and teenage years.
